Who we are

At Jaybo One, our story begins with a name — and a promise.

When I was two years old, my great-grandfather, James Leon Cowart, looked at me and gave me the nickname Jaybo. Then he said I was “number one” in his heart.

That moment never left me.

It wasn’t just a nickname.
It was identity.
It was legacy.
It was a standard.

Texas born and raised, I don’t apologize for who I am. I live life in black and white — it either is, or it ain’t. I carry a rebellious rock-and-roll spirit, a cowboy work ethic, and a Christian faith rooted in the greatest commandment: love. Work hard. Eat clean. Speak straight. Believe every human being matters.

And I design with that same fever.

Jaybo One stands for legacy, craftsmanship, and the belief that what we create should matter.

We design and handcraft bold, hand-painted, laser-etched ceramic tiles.
We cut and shape rich hardwoods — walnut, cherry, mahogany — into elegant, powerful works of art.
We blend textiles and texture with precision and intention.

Nothing is rushed.
Nothing is mass produced.
Nothing is hollow.

Every piece is built by hand — assembled with pride, detail, and discipline. We don’t make décor. We build statement pieces. Art that brings warmth. Art that starts conversations. Art that feels like something.

Our work reflects strength and detail.
Faith and craftsmanship.
Tradition and modern edge.

Just like the name behind it, each piece represents being “number one” — not in competition, but in heart. In quality. In purpose.

This isn’t just décor.
It’s legacy layered in wood.
It’s craftsmanship you can feel.
It’s bold. It’s honest. It’s built with fire.

It’s Jaybo One.
